Cold brewing brings forward the full bodied natural sweetness with very little acidity.
This coffee is grown at very high elevations to provide coffee beans that mature slowly, delivering a sweeter and more complex taste. La Minita’s Tarrazu estate produces some of the finest coffees in the world, which is why Oren’s has been roasting this coffee for over 30 years. Elevation: 1,200 – 2,200 meters above sea level.

La Minita is like the OG of specialty coffee from Central America. I think I first had this at an Oren’s shop when they still existed on UES and now purchased via mail. It is truly still among the very best of Central American/South American coffees and no crazy fermentations or experimentations just a beautifully balanced nose and taste

La Minita has been my favorite for decades and I just love your coffees. I have been a loyal customer since the store was near the Hungarian school on the upper east side in the mid 1980’s. The longevity of the brand proves your greatness.

As good as it gets (at least for my taste).
I’ve tried several different Oren’s coffees, and while they’ve all been wonderful tasting, I’ve come to appreciate LaMinita above the rest.
The perfect morning coffee

We have tried many of Oren’s coffees and have found La Minita the best. A very nice medium strength and extremely good tasting coffee.

My wife Marcia and I love La Manita and we like to mix it with Columbia (Swiss Water Decaf) and a little Cinnamon Coffee. But it is great all by itself too!

The la Minita is the most elegant morning cup of coffee you can have. Full-bodied, smooth, with a very light, very pleasant taste of lemon. It’s been my go to for years.

La Minita Costa rica is one of the finest coffees in the world. For years, I ignored it despite the recommendations because I thought of Central and South American coffees as light bodied. I was so wrong. La Minita is full bodied, fully flavored, smooth, chocolatey, and my go-to for a number of years now.
