Papua New Guinea Virgin Mountain Grade A

Bright, Creamy Body, Light Citrus

This balanced coffee is as close to a perfect cup as one is likely to find. One of the two varietals is Blue Mountain, from Jamaica, known as perfectly balanced. It is grown at an ideal altitude of 1,850-1,900 masl in rich volcanic soil of the Arona Valley—an area from which we have had many amazing lots over the years.

We could not find one this good last season and so we went without. If a coffee origin does not produce a worthy lot in one crop year, we do not carry a lesser coffee just to maintain that origin in stock. We would rather be out of stock on a coffee for a year or more rather than serve you something disappointing.

Smooth, round, full, bright, juicy, sweet, and complex. This lot, Virgin Mountain Grade A, will not disappoint.

One of my favorite go-to Oren’s coffee: sweet, smooth, rounded, bright. I’m really big into PNG coffee.

We were afraid this coffee would be too “earthy” but it is not. It is on the lighter side and very good. It is so smooth and creamy that you are tempted to drink it very quickly. Really tasty!
