This Colombia comes from the south of Huila in an area known as San Agustin. It is particularly high grown at 1,700 to 1,950 masl. The higher grown, the slower maturation and sweeter the bean. I found this coffee 30 years ago and have bought it many times over the years. Over 80% of the producers grow on less than 3 hectare family farms where quality is strictly adhered to. The varietals are Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo. I think the Caturra shines through. It is a memorable cup! Enjoy.
Additionally, this part of Huila is home to the largest group of religious monuments and megalith sculptures in South America, constituting gods and mythical animals from Andean culture dating from the 1st century. The monuments comprise a UNESCO world heritage site. On one of my visits to the area we made time to visit the sculptures. Truly a breathtaking experience. If you ever get the chance to see it, I highly recommend you do so.
