This Kenya is an AA Plus rated bean, which means it’s quite large, and comes from the Nyeri growing region — one of Oren’s favorites due to the consistent quality of beans this area produces. Coffee production in Kenya begins in the surrounds of Mount Kenya and then west and south through the mountains.

The fertile volcanic soil, high altitude between 1,400 to 2,000 meters, warm climate and perfect amount of rainfall produce conditions that are ideal for growing coffee trees. This coffee is washed (wet processed) and as a result is light with an intense floral taste. You can also expect hints of fruit or wininess and a sweet aftertaste.

Sweet, big-bodied, complex flavors are evident in this classic Kenya coffee that lingers pleasingly on the palate.
